AusHealthIT Poll Number 136 – Results – 17th September, 2012.

The question was:

Do You Think The Unreliability and Instability of The NEHRS Should Result In Sanctions Against Those Responsible?

For Sure 69% (29)
Probably 10% (4)
Possibly 10% (4)
No Way - They Are Trying Hard 12% (5)
Total votes: 42
Very interesting response. Essentially about 70% there should be some accountability for the way the NEHRS project has been made operational ?
Again, many thanks to those that voted!
David.

The latest poll is impossible to answer, The repose I want is "I hope they cut the PCEHR so some real work can be done"

I would like to Vote on the current poll but the Vote box seems to be overwritten. All I can see is Easy Polls. Can you help?

Sorry..18 people have voted. When I use Internet Explorer it seems fine (I see the vote button) so you might like to try that.

I have no idea why it is working for some and not others.

It seems the problem is browser related. Using Internet Explorer the Vote box is visible, using Mozilla Firefox the Vote box is concealed behind the question box and cannot be accessed.

Is it moderately amusing that a blog dedicated to critiquing an eHealth technology implementation has technology issues?

If we're pointing out issues, the "frequent comments" area on the left of the blog really doesn't have to format special characters in such an ugly manner.

These services are provided by gadgets over which I have no control - unlike those implementing the NEHRS have of their software - so if you don't like the service just don't drop in. It is as simple as that. Remember this is free and unsponsored!

I accept the whole thing could maybe look a good deal prettier but frankly life is too short!

I think the main point of Anonymous @ 9/18/2012 11:42:00 PM was that regardless of the cost, usability and utility of the 'gadgets' on this site, the credibility of a blog which purports its owner to be an authority (whether actual or not) is somewhat lessened when it hypocritically attacks the cost, usability and utility of the NEHRS.

To extrapolate and assert some scale - it seems a ‘gadget’ available on a service owned and operated by Google sometimes can’t handle special characters. Google has a capital value of $235 billion and can’t get it right…

No one is perfect – let’s all acknowledge the fact and move forward constructively.

Like I said. If you don't like what you read - don't bother dropping by. And especially don't worry about my credibility - those who read here are comfortable it would seem. If you are not you know what to do.

I can recognise a troll when I see one! End of conversation.

The Poll gizmo works fine in Chrome on Ubuntu. Same for iPad, and I got another vote via 3G.
Did anyone else notice the upgrade to Twitter on their Android phone today? Now it will modify contacts and read call log.
