AusHealthIT Poll Number 232 – Results – 24th August, 2014.

Here are the results of the poll.

Do You Believe The Present Leadership Of NEHTA and DoHA E-Health Initiatives Will Be Able To Deliver A Successful PCEHR?

For Sure 15% (41)

Probably 4% (10)

Neutral 2% (4)

Probably Not 14% (36)

No Way 65% (172)

I Have No Idea 1% (2)

Total votes: 265

What an extraordinary poll! 3 days ago the outcome of the 80 or so votes was a clear no way. Two days ago it reversed and I wrote a blog pointing out what was going on.

See here:

Then there was a sudden reverse as every man and his dog voted No Way. The view of the readership is clear cut. Presently we do not seem to have much of a chance of success.

Again, many, many thanks to all those that voted! A really fun saga!

David,

It would be interesting to know how many people usually vote.

My guess is that there were more than a few serial voters in this poll.

Bernard,

50-100 is typical. The application is meant to prevent voting twice from same computer / device but I guess multiple devices allow more than one vote..

I can't vote twice from same computer as it displays results rather than asks for a vote.

That would be correct from my end as well, normally I don't vote very often but in this case it was based on my disbelief NEHTA would instruct lawyers to have posts removed but then only a select set of posts, this does not present a good image for NEHTA IMHO, perhaps it was better DOH took over consultations and engagements.

The numbers would indicate this strategy might have back fired, the posts would have been mostly overlooked and lost from memory very quickly, where as now this will be long remembered
