Basically it seems no one thinks the ADHA board is up to it! I suspect the majority may just be right. What a spectacular fail!
If anyone knows any of the Board members you might bring these results to their attention as you can be sure the ADHA Executive won't be publicising them!

The outcome of this poll is of the boards making, they set expectations of a more open and transparent organisation, yet it seems a culture of paranoia and protectionism has emerged. Why is this? What have they to hide? What are they ashamed of? Everything the ADHA does is funded by the people of Australia and should be available and discoverable by the people of Australia.
Have we lost the ability to hold open and frank dialogue where everyone is welcome and every input welcomed and worked through? To me it seems the case, dialogue, sharing of knowledge and views has been replaced by an almost cultish doctrine.
This poll is not an isolated occurrence, it is yet one in an ever increasing number that indicates a strong alternative community view than those who are paid to marketADHA aims

Especially this bit, under "Which rules and policies guide the ADHA's decision to grant access to law enforcement?"
"The agency was unable to provide a definition of "protecting the public revenue" by deadline."
This is referring to the infamous section 70 of the legislation, which starts off:
"70 Disclosure for law enforcement purposes, etc.
(1) The System Operator is authorised to use or disclose health information included in a healthcare recipient’s My Health Record if the System Operator reasonably believes that the use or disclosure is reasonably necessary for one or more of the following things done by, or on behalf of, an enforcement body:
(a) the prevention, detection, investigation, prosecution or punishment of criminal offences, breaches of a law imposing a penalty or sanction or breaches of a prescribed law;
(b) the enforcement of laws relating to the confiscation of the proceeds of crime;
(c) the protection of the public revenue;
(d) the prevention, detection, investigation or remedying of seriously improper conduct or prescribed conduct;
(e) the preparation for, or conduct of, proceedings before any court or tribunal, or implementation of the orders of a court or tribunal."
What this all means is totally unknown to the public and so it seems to ADHA.
And the government wants the people to trust them?
The government is going to have an interesting three months.
