Enjoy.

This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.
Quote Of The Year

Senator A. Could the ADHA please remind the committee what you do and how your efforts are making a positive impact to patients and their care teams.
ADHA. Thank you Minister for your question. I am afraid I do not have that information to hand and if I can take that on notice someone from the department will make that up and submit to the committee.
It's 12:30-1:00 and 2:00-3:15
1 Hour and 45 minutes, for 5 programs.
Don't expect much of a grilling for ADHA. The Department will do everything in its power to keep the ANAO review from going public before then.
The ADHA will probably want to talk up its plans for re-platforming its white elephant.
Illuminating ....!!!!!!! .. "someone from the department will make that up" ..... !!!!!
Who, from the ADHA, gave that response?
Could it have been one of the ADHAs customer-facing representatives?
The ANAO would have been mightily impressed if they got a response like that!
Dear Secretary Ms Glenys Beauchamp,
You have been in the Chair long enough to come to grips with the huge mess you inherited. We accept it is not your doing, it goes back a long way to when Jane Halton flicked the switch and then let ADHA roll along uncontrollably for almost a decade.
You will not be penalised if you 'pull-the-plug', rather you will be applauded. However, if you let this opportunity to right-the -wrong pass you by then you will be tarnished with the MHR mess for the rest of your career.
You need to ask yourself:
1. Are you a Leader and a competent manager?
2. Are you capable of making tough decisions?
3. Do you have the courage to pull-the-plug?
AnonymousOctober 21, 2019 7:30 PM. You might find 6:15 PM was be humorous. A shuttle hint that it is not an actual transcript in the use of Minister instead of Senator (being a senate committee not a minister committee)
Also ADHA is only three year in existence. MyHR was a brain fart by the DOHA crowned PCEHR. They used and abused NEHTA as a shield while they could then created ADHA. Ever noticed iADHA is an abbreviation for A Department of Health Agency.
The ADHA will probably want to talk up its plans for re-platforming its white elephant.
If they look closer that white elephant is in fact a very old mammoth.
