The same old department of Health - a policy department - is trying to achieve service delivery outcomes. They don't have the knowledge and/or expertise to do this but don't understand their own limitations. The culture in the department hasn't changed in the twenty five years since I first had any involvement - which has only Bernard Robertson-Dunnhttp://www.problemsfirst.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23447705.post-42813915365283648702017-07-30T13:28:09.607+10:002017-07-30T13:28:09.607+10:00I have to agree with 12:05 PM, it does seem the AD...I have to agree with 12:05 PM, it does seem the ADHA has fizzled out and lack any vision. I like others were expecting to be able to get round complex issues where the ADHA would bring to bear real subject matter experts from computer science, health informatics, healthcare, standards and industry and consumers, not a set of generic managers, spin doctors and armies of change managers stuck in Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23447705.post-32686846259078666742017-07-30T12:05:26.585+10:002017-07-30T12:05:26.585+10:00The MyHR comes up in conversations and development...The MyHR comes up in conversations and development consideration, or at least CDA does which inevitably means the MyHR is mentioned, as for the ADHA and its leader, well not really, if I did not read your blog David I probably would not know what it was.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23447705.post-4647512372594469512017-07-30T11:04:10.388+10:002017-07-30T11:04:10.388+10:00I wonder if it really matters, after all what is t...I wonder if it really matters, after all what is the ADHA? Why does it even exist? What positive impact is it having that could not happen without it? Is the ADHA serving an open and competitive market? Or is it simply now competing with the market and constraining innovation through the mandated MyHR, swollowing up funds that could be used to drive the complete lifecycle of standards and nurtureAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23447705.post-88027772105810528842017-07-30T09:24:25.078+10:002017-07-30T09:24:25.078+10:00David, this weeks poll is a serious issue, the ADH...David, this weeks poll is a serious issue, the ADHA Board will not be able to dismiss it as simply noise from a long standing blogger, your poll results are the same as Pulse IT, so one would have to wonder if this is a cultural and change management issue for them. That our the Board is sponsoring the secrecyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23447705.post-77193550613032950902017-07-30T08:37:45.418+10:002017-07-30T08:37:45.418+10:00Agree, the ADHA has little to say, and probably a ...Agree, the ADHA has little to say, and probably a lot they would prefer not to talk about. That is no excuse and the ADHA going by the rules of its incorporation was never created to be a national soapbox for egos and twitter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23447705.post-79175529069867182682017-07-30T08:15:27.219+10:002017-07-30T08:15:27.219+10:00Itbwill be difficult to recover under the current ...Itbwill be difficult to recover under the current leadership team, we have seen the pattern of communication, it is all about statistics and claims of some future utopia and little substance. All the ADHA has is the MyHR which is simply statistics of uploads of documents. They had a chance to lead but has missed that opportunity and instead seemed to have decided the community even more.<br /><brAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
