This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.

Twitter Feed Now Available for the AusHealthIT Blog .
For those who what it – there is now a button down the side of the blog to subscribe to a Twitter Feed.
Enjoy and I hope it is useful. Let me know if it is not working as expected!
My guess is it probably has a lot of substance reflecting a complete state of panic and confusion at the upper echelons of government. I can just hear the mantra from the PMs office - get it out now - don't wait for COAG or the states to pontificate - just get it out there. Health is so big it will distract media attention away from all the climate change, insurance rebate, and pink bats brouhaha.
