An Amusing Little NEHTA Side Line.

I was alerted to this yesterday in Linkedin - for those who have access here is a link.

A post NEHTA employees discussion group and collaboration called NEXIAN!

See here:

Amazing there are now apparently 31 former employees that want to stay in touch with each other. Pity so many decided to leave and not to stick around and get planned stuff delivered - as we all know we need.

We will see if they are for good or not so good over time I am sure. Judgment suspended on all this until we see what happens next. It would be good if they could influence current staff to do better!

  1. Come on David, commentary on NEHTA strategy, commentary on international developments, commentary on eHealth in Australia, all well and good

A tirade on NEHTA personnel - give us a break. People leave organisations - they like to stay in touch - no big deal. The good ideas and suggestions you and we make on this blog are demeaned by personal tirades.

  2. I didn't see any tirade. Said we would wait and see what they did and so on!

Sorry if you are offended. It was meant to be a bit of fun!

As they say..no names, no pack-drill.

  3. I think you've lost the plot David...if you follow the link you see a group of people keeping social contact. Unless you're slipping into the dreaded world of tabloid reporting (and losing all credibility) why on earth would we be interested in ex-staffers hatched-matched-dispatched or drinks at the pub?

Don't insult our intelligence with thinly veiled claims of it being for fun. I can't see what is so fun at making jibes at people who 'had a go' at the Government's e-health 'too hard basket'?
Give them a break, they've left ... let them move on and maybe you should move onto better subject matter too.

  4. OK even! I thought it was amusing that such a group had even formed. Different folks for different strokes I guess.

For those who don't know LinkedIn is a commercial / professional social networking tool, hence my comments that maybe this group could use their experience for good.

  5. There are plenty of groups for ex staff of companies and this would be no different. Personal criticism of people you don't know, and have no idea of what they worked on or what they delivered in their roles does not help your agenda. You are keen to suggest that they did not stick around to "get planned stuff delivered" but have no idea what personal or professional circumstances prompted them to leave, and if you find the fact that they keep in touch strange, because they actually have social skills, then its shows that your dislike of all things NEHTA has no bounds...You would be better sticking to the facts and pushing ehealth and ensuring its success than trying to single out people of whom you have no knowledge of .

  6. All I can say there are a lot of anonymous critics out there who are pretty much as ignorant of the facts as they claim I am. We have now reached the personal abuse stage and this conversation is ended.

Kindly note I have used no names etc so I fail to see the harm. As it happens I do happen to know many involved in the group and like in everything else in life there are certainly some good souls among them!

I don't run the blog for anonymous abusers - if you are unhappy just don't drop by!

I am sure www.ehealthcentral.com.au would welcome your visits!

  7. Amusing, my arse!
Collective responsible for wasting half a billion dollars in their own self interest, unelected and unaccountable.
