This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.

NZ Earthquake : So Sad and So Awful.
Just to note my sentiments regarding the awful death and destruction that has happened. Really just so sad!
I hope the outcomes will be the best possible for all involved given the scale of the catastrophe!
Six months ago the people of Christchurch had barely if ever felt an earthquake, now they have endured several hundred including two huge ones. Yesterday's quake will have resulted in a significant loss of life (still being assessed) and the destruction of some beautiful historic buildings that date back to the establishment of the city 160 years ago. It is very sad indeed.
Thanks very much for acknowledging this in your blog.
Thanks very much for your thoughtfulness David,
