The Design For the NASH Smartcard Leaks!

I am assured this is a late working draft of the NASH Smartcard.

We always have the freshest news here.Otherwise how would such a still evolving plan get out?


Here is the Smartcard design coming to the pocket of a healthcare provider near you some time! How soon is anyone's guess.

On a totally separate matter we are hearing lots of rumours that there is a mad push to have some way of online registration for the NEHRS / PCEHR on Sunday 1, July 2012 at exactly 1 minute past 12. I won't be staying up put people are welcome to see if it is true!

    I think you'll find a consistent message on online registrations that it's being worked on and will be delivered as soon as ready. And that might be on Sunday, or might be soon after. I think Andrew Howard is on record as saying this a number of times.

    Sorry, but I don't grasp the relationship between the NASH Smartcard and online (user) registration for NEHRS/PCEHR. I understand that the first is for providers, the second for users (ie general public) who will authenticate with a password, not a Smartcard.
