This just popped up on my feed.
Zero! says Health Minister Peter Dutton. Because the previous Government forgot to organise it!
How many constituents in Deakin would be able to turn up at emergency and have their e-records available? was the question.
Question to Peter Dutton on how the whole e-health thing is working out.
Now I wouldn’t like to be reading tea-leaves but it is hard not to wonder what the PCEHR Review has been telling him. The question was from a Liberal Member and was clearly to give Mr Dutton an opportunity to comment on the PCEHR.
Make of that what you will.
David.
Politics trumps reality.
ReplyDeleteRemember, half the voters are below average intelligence.
Don't be so hard on yourself!
DeleteTake heart from the fact there are multiple intelligences you may well be above or below average on without feeling any less about the below average cohort.

It's an observation re the political process. There are very few votes coming from the people who read and comment on this site. An awful lot read the Murdoch press, watch Sky Hews and can't tell the difference between entertainment, biased/partisan commentary and real news/facts.
It's part of what causes the problem in the first place - politicians desperate to get immediate results and public servants anxious to please. All to look good to the average voter.
