The Australasian College Of Health Informatics (ACHI) Releases Its Submission To The PCEHR Review.

ACHI has made its Submission to the PCEHR Review - submitted on the 22nd November, 2013.

I have to confess I had a small part in this document with a good number of other members and fellows.

I think there are some good points made here.

  1. I despair. What hope is there if the ACHI cannot even get its facts straight in the first paragraph.

.... review the PCEHR "as requested by the Department of Health
    in November 2013". !!!!!!!

David, how could you have let this misinformation through?

  2. Very easily...

I agree, canned text from previous submissions. Have taken the editor out and suggested harder work!

  3. What a lot of self-serving ingratiating rubbish.

100 percent of the Recommendations support perpetuating the involvement of and control by 'The Department'.

What is it that you people in ACHI do not understand?

Do you not realize that nearly all the problems with the PCEHR have stemmed from the Department and NEHTA?

  4. I have to agree - the Department and NEHTA are certainly part of the problem and can't be trusted to be any part of the solution.

I think the intent was directed at the government not the Department.

Thanks for pointing the issue out.

    David.
