AusHealthIT Poll Number 241 – Results – 26th October, 2014.

Here are the results of the poll.

Will The Proposed New Primary Health Networks Work Better Than The Old Medicare Locals For E-Health Implementation and Support?

For Sure 5% (5)

Probably 4% (4)

Neutral 25% (25)

Probably Not 28% (28)

No Way 38% (38)

I Have No Idea 1% (1)

Total votes: 101

It seems most don’t think the changes being made by the Government are going to make much of a difference and that similar outcomes can be expected.

Again, many, many thanks to all those that voted!

  1. With the same old rhetoric and apparently no new thinking and all the funding coming from Dept of Health - "here's the money do as we say" - and the same old people in Canberra in charge - why would one expect anything to be any different.

The only thing that's different is the number of entities to be established in primary Care - from Divisions of General Practice cut by 50% to create fewer, larger Medicare Locals, cut again by 50% to create fewer, larger Primary Health Networks.

So, what can you all see that's so very different this time around?
