AusHealthIT Poll Number 245 – Results – 23th November, 2014.

Here are the results of the poll.

Do You Believe There Is Enough Evidence Of Benefit To Support Continuing Investment By Government In The PCEHR?

For Sure 4% (6)

Probably 6% (10)

Neutral 9% (15)

Probably Not 38% (60)

Definitely Not 42% (67)

I Have No Idea 1% (1)

Total votes: 159

A very clear response with a big majority seeing inadequate evidence to continue with the PCEHR.

Good to see such a clear outcome and lots of votes.

Again, many, many thanks to all those that voted!

  1. Regarding the latest poll, is it fair to call NEHTA on this one? They will simply be providing the channel to market, it will be government dictating the direction, this is the sa,e with there funding, if you look closely half of NEHTA money goes to NASH, HI operations. Personally I believe NEHTA is bogged down in to much of this sort of thing and should be there to design solutions not pump out artefacts so a white elephant has another feature. It would also help remove some internal politics. implemetation services and the PCEHR are destroying quality

  2. Well NEHTA put out the announcement so they seem pretty central in it all!

I do agree there is a risk they are the monkey rather than the organ grinder however.
