Not about NEHTA (yet) but Obama signs information-sharing order should be watched.

There may be convergence with Turnbull's Digital Identity project.
You can bet NEHTA will be quickly copying this and the other recent iniatives announced through ONC, it is always nice watching the senior managers at NEHTA following strong leadership

Considering the way clinicial input now plays third fiddle to IT heroes and political payoffs, NEHTA and DoH killing any participation and support for standards and interoperability perfering managed and incomplete specifications with intergration being the easy option. I cannot see them copying these approaches into any strategy. In fact I am not sure they have a strategic leader at the moment nor have they for several years. I only hope this critical capability is being created and brought in by the new chair.
