AusHealthIT Poll Number 274 – Results – 14th June, 2015.

Here are the results of the poll.

Do You Believe The Government Has Any Real Idea About How To Fix The Useability Of PCEHR?

Yes 2% (3)

No 97% (138)

I Have No Idea 1% (2)

Total votes: 143

This has to be the clearest vote ever. Virtually no one who reads here thinks the Government can fix PCEHR usability.

I wonder how long it will be before we see the details of the Government Useability Plan?

Good to see such a great number of responses!

Again, many, many thanks to all those that voted!

David.

  1. Makes you wonder what lobby groups, oops I mean stakeholders, have actually been engaged with and listened too. Not that it matters while certain technologists and change managers remain in place, they have as much understanding of how to work with stakeholders to inform and shape work, as they do in defining a strategy and allowing plans to be implemented.

  2. This is a very significant result. The bureaucrats will not be bothered too much by this survey result as long as it isn't brought to the Minister's notice. However, they will worry, should she decide to take a much closer look at the whole kit and caboodle. There is much that she could learn from a perusal of many of the comments on this blog about the PCEHR and other areas of eHealth. The big question is "Does she have the skills or resources to do that?

  3. Don't mistake Strategists and Technologists with Opportunists, the latter being what we currently have IMHO, would love to see the NEHTA and PCEHR Work plans for the last 3 years, they do not seem to have published one for many years. If it's a list of 'stuff' in a spreadsheet then it is time for a change.

  4. Probably the most reliable way to communicate with Sussan Ley is through her Electoral Office in Albury, provided of course her personal staff are smart enough to pass your message direct to her and not via a referral into the Department where it will be quietly buried.
