There clearly needs a great deal more work on consultation in the strategy development!

The most clear cut vote ever!

Great turnout of votes as well!

  1. How about State governments?

Why is the Federal Government spending getting on for $2billion on a dubious and unproven idea like My Health Record leaving the Victorian government to find $30million to fix a real problem that's killing hundreds of people every year? A problem that's actually a national problem, it's not restricted to Victoria.

The Federal Government could have funded 40 projects each worth $50 million for what they have wasted on the MyHR.

If those projects had been well chosen and had actually happened, hundreds, if not thousands of people would be alive today and many more would be living more healthy lives. What a wasted opportunity - it should have happened years ago.

Over 50,000 Australians died and more that 150,000 were wounded in the first world war. I was listening to the ANZAC dawn services this morning and it was said that the best way to honour those who died or suffered is to try and make Australian a better and safer place in which to live.

ANZAC day is a day for reflection and thinking.

Some people need to take a long hard look at what they're doing and ask if they really are making Australia a better place - or are they just fooling themselves.
