In the last few months there has been a very pleasing improvement in the quality and depth of comments received on the blog. It seems this blog is one of few places where important issues in the digital health domain can be discussed openly and freely.
Sadly however, among these have been one or two which have been rather too personally focussed, which has obscured the point being made.
I am hoping we will win the battle for serious rethinking of the approach the ADHA is adopting based on the quality of arguments rather than ad-hominem abuse.
Please bear this in mind when posting. I do not want to find myself in the role of censor-in-chief and much more want to see good ideas and views circulated and discussed openly - even if I personally do not agree with the points made.
There also needs to be a forum for ADHA insiders to put perspective free from the anxiety of retribution. Done well this can only improve the quality of discussion.
Many thanks for reading - and, as always, comments are welcome. Whatever, please keep the comments civil and fact based rather than personal.
David.
This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.
Quote Of The Year
