ANZAC Day Break

I hope all have an ANZAC Day that reflects the sadness and sacrifice that brought it into being.

Back Thursday.

  1. This is reassuring:

    Temporarily Unavailable

The website that you're trying to reach is having technical difficulties and is currently unavailable.

We are aware of the issue and are working hard to fix it. Thank you for your patience.

    (it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't)

  2. I get the same. At least the clowns running ADHA IT go nowhere near MHR (hopefully).

Since Christmas we have had email leaks demonstrating a clear lack of leadership, vision and outright victimisation, the ADHA has experience numerous blackouts across its network, limited quality controls in its web publishing, and a ever increasing event log of website issues. Even their authentication engine to access resources is cute but cumbersome. None of this speaks to me that they have any grasp of IT basics.

What has happened mr CEO? How is it I am being asked to trust that my health information is safe and secure?

  3. If you do get onto the site, make sure you read the terms of use, https://www.digitalhealth.gov.au/website-terms-of-use

    especially this snippet

    "Disclaimers and limitations of liability

Subject to any express written agreement between you and the Agency to the contrary and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

    the Website and the Content are provided on an 'as is' basis;

you use them at your own risk; and

the Agency disclaims all express or implied warranties of any
kind including, without limitation, as to accuracy, adequacy,
completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose and non-infringement of third party rights."

IANAL but that seems to be saying "You're on your own guys. Don't believe anything you read on this site"

  4. It would seem that perhaps the age of co-design and open and transparent partnerships will be governed by layers. A necessary profession but not exactly a caring and sharing lot

  5. 1:36 PM layer or Lawyers? If the latter then I can see how you might come to that conclusion. Wonder what they might have discovered to become so careful and protective
