This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.

The myHR Has A New Logo - They Really Must Have Spent Up On This.
No evidence based on this implementation, no tested value = MyBWOTAM = MyBigWasteOfTimeAndMoney I'm sure a new logo and updated marketing material can fix the problem of a solution lacking in substance. *sarcasm* Dilbert would be proud.
The logo sums it up quite nicely, nothing in the image portrays healthcare, it simply reflects a bunch of folders on a cheap laptop. Not exactly the best one to date. Top marks for honesty.
Anon 9:50am - my health record will stay safe and secure, at my GPs. I trust them, won't be having a bar of the MyHR and have planned for all of next Monday (16th) to be spent on trying to opt-out, because if ADHA have had anything to do with that system, it will probably be a shambles too.
Oh it's a laptop?? In dim light it looked more like a wallet to me, one of those flippy things with credit cards etc. It looks like 1990s clip art. Yea, I'm out.

ReplyDeleteA bit like their mantra: My Health Record, safe, seamless and secure.
ReplyDeleteTotally meaningless.

That wallet represents those wishing to buy health data
