David it is clear that the ADHA in two years has either avoided addressing areas of concern, or sort to defame some and ridicule others and certainly ignore all. This poll is also reflective of the ADHA itself, far from being transparent they seem committed to a closed door policy. Which was not the expectation. What are they hiding? Is the ADHA a hotbed of corruption? Is Tim spearheading or at least permitting a disregard of APS rules?
ReplyDeleteThe stories of a small group that seem to have a free hand, and hands that would appear dirty are of major concern. If there is suspicion around the handling of public funds, position appointed to friends, and contract awards painted in conflict of interest, then the public has a right to know, if they cannot be trusted as an APS entity, then there is little hope of trusting them with private health information.
I am most certainly not suggesting the board, the executive are committing these serious issues, I am suggesting they cannot be blind to them, nor can they be excused of accountability.
September 09, 2027 11:33 AM. As someone who is a public servant and with a reasonably broad career across a number of departments, Health being one of those. The structural problems and staffing appointments at the Australian Digital Health Agency are known. Work is being conducted by a number of government agencies to look into the Digital Health Agency quite broadly with you points covered. It is recognised that the Digital Health Agency will due to the nature of its remit, require staff from outside the APS in some areas. The core functions which are standard across all businesses and Comminwealth Departments and agencies require a certain speciality and these are being addressed.
