This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.
Quote Of The Year
Timeless Quotes - Sadly The Late Paul Shetler - "Its not Your Health Record it's a Government Record Of Your Health Information"
or
H. L. Mencken - "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong."

Should make for an interesting read. With Kerryn Phelps looking to take Wentworth how the government acts will be interesting also. The current government is in desperation mode and seem willing to do anything.
Whatever the report says, looking at the communications strategy it has been a real failure. Examples are
The YouTube videos, the view totals are a joke against the production costs.
The twitter accounts hardly have a following
The printed material is not really informative
The information sessions have hardly been memorable or balanced
Even the Agency websites are a shambles and seem disconnected
So Tim and his communications advisor need to be amputated from eHealth in australiay
To be fair Tim has at least opened a spotlight onto the broader issues that our “digital government” is creating. He should be commended, Canberra was secretly and silently building a survalence system. They must be chuffed with old nice but Tim
