AusHealthIT Poll Number 503 – Results – 1st December, 2019.

Here are the results of the poll.

Is It Time For A Formal Review Of The ADHA And Its Management, Strategic Direction(s), Delivery, Finances, Competencies, Capabilities, Value for Money And Workplace Environment?

Yes 89% (96)

No 10% (11)

I Have No Idea 1% (1)

Total votes: 108

Well that was pretty clear. A huge majority thinks that the time has come for a close look at how the ADHA is working after 3 or so years.

Any insights on the poll welcome as a comment, as usual.

A very reasonable turn out of votes.

It must have been a very easy question as only 1/108 readers were not sure how to respond.

Again, many, many thanks to all those that voted!

David.

  1. 1 July 2020 the business case for a MOG involving ADHA was be approved and funded. By July 1 2021 that MOG will be implemented and ADHA will pass into Helheim

This is speculation based on observations and knowing the APS template to life

  2. I can't follow this. What does a MOG mean and what is Helheim?

What is the "APS template to life"?

  3. David I think what 10:08 AM is attempting to say is:

In 2020 a business case will be approved for ADHA to windup and incorporated back into one of more departments. MOG is an APS TERM FOR machinery of government. A change process where functions move between government departments. Managing MyHR I guess would be a function.

In simply terms by 2021 ADHA will no longer be an agency and the functions it performs will be undertaken by others.

The reference to one of three place the dead go in Nordic mythology I cannot explain.

  4. Thanks,

It will be interesting to see how the plans evolve and where the money for the 're-platforming' etc. is sourced from.

It won't be cheap and as I understand the ADHA has only 6-7 months committed funding.

    David.
