I have a Google Alert set up to keep an eye of what the ADHA is up to with the #myHealthRecord.
Recently I have been seeing links many like this appear – pointing to Russian web sites that are clearly pretty malevolent, with text extracted from ADHA and similar sites.

I am curious to know what the technical smarties think is going on here. To me it just looks like attempted fraud on innocent searchers on information regarding the #myHR.
Comments more than welcome.

Those links are to books that have nothing to do with myhr.
The first "Personal Health Records: The Essential Missing Element in 21st Century Healthcare" is part of HIMSS' Book Series and is due out later on in July

The second is "My Health, My Life: Roadmap to a Healthy Lifestyle" and was published February 11, 2012. It is about lifestyle and has nothing to do with Health Records, never mind myhr.
IMHO, the only people who claim Personal Health Records are an essential missing element are those trying to sell the concept or a product.
For an industry that loves Evidence Based claims, there is a distinct lack of evidence that personal health records (as opposed to a professional's health records) deliver anything to the average person.
If people can't follow the basic health guidelines - eat better, don't smoke or drink to excess and exercise - what/where is the argument that access to a personal health record will deliver anything useful?
