This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.

Mark Butler Is The New Federal Health Minister
He comes from South Australia and has been in Parliament since 2007. So he has been around!
He has been involved in health politics for a decent period. His education probably lends itself well to the role - if you have ever had the good fortune of sitting through federal policy and legislation drafting, you'll know just how gripping a read it gets the 50th time round.
I met Mark perhaps 10 years ago when I worked at NPS MedicineWise. He was well briefed and on the ball. He has clearly had an interest in the health portfolio for a long time.
Mark Butler - a lawyer and union official.
ReplyDeleteWell he knows all there is to know about healthcare and digital health then.
Rather disrespectful to the medical profession and the people of Australia.
