Has anyone else noticed that despite a reasonably fast link web pages are taking a good while to load and the culprit appears to be all the page links and advertisements being looked up as the pages load. Examples that are a real pest seem to be Doubleclick, user counters and similar (up to 10 or 15 seem to be looked up before you get your requested page).
Hey Senator Conroy - can we ban all this along with the porn for a pure and fast NBN!
David.
This blog is totally independent, unpaid and has only three major objectives.
The first is to inform readers of news and happenings in the e-Health domain, both here in Australia and world-wide.
The second is to provide commentary on e-Health in Australia and to foster improvement where I can.
The third is to encourage discussion of the matters raised in the blog so hopefully readers can get a balanced view of what is really happening and what successes are being achieved.
Quote Of The Year

or
H. L. Mencken - "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong."

Not sure I follow. Please explain.

Use Firefox web browser (http://www.mozilla.com), install the Adblock add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865/). It automatically blocks ads, giving a faster page load and less page clutter.
