We've started to implement e-health solutions before having appropriately trained individuals enter the field. There should be a legal requirement to have appropriately trained individuals implementing our future health systems. This is life and death don't forget.
Training is only part of the solution. Experience is far more important. We need the people with experience to be appropriately recognised and supported so they can share their knowledge with those inexperienced graduates. This can not/should not happen in a university.
