Here are the results of the poll.
Are You Satisfied With The Level Of Transparency The Federal Government Is Providing On The Adoption and Effectiveness Of Its Health Related IT Initiatives (COVIDSafe, #myHR etc)?
Yes 3% (2)
No 96% (67)
I Have No Idea 1% (1)
Total votes: 70
Pretty clear cut outcome – with almost no one thinking the Federal Government is open enough!
Any insights on the poll are welcome, as a comment, as usual!
An OK number of votes with a very clear outcome!
It must also have been a very easy question as 1/70 (1%) readers were not sure how to respond.
Again, many, many thanks to all those who voted!
David.

This weeks poll - there is a standards process under the supervision of ADHA - really? Had no idea, presumed they were living off past efforts and making their own standards.
9:04 AM, standards are an ongoing thing, there are many standards - easily several thousand in use across the broad scope of digital health. HL7 is not the only show in town. I understood the question to be around the process of standards development and if Service Australia/ADHA guidance has an influence one way or the other.
Personally Services Australia run solutions and should be seen as participants in standards similar to Epic, Cerner, medical objects or Telstra health etc… no solution provider should be in a dominants position that could unfairly influence a standard. It’s in the principles.
