I have to say that one has to wonder about the probity of a tender that opens on the 24th September, closes on the 29th September and asks for work to begin in 1st October – One day for assessment and analysis of respondents, notify the winner and get them off and rolling!

I note the need for a security clearance to prevent leaks!

I wonder just what is required?  Other than a title It is not exactly specified as far as I can tell!

Overall the way this is being (has been) conducted demonstrates the need for such a role or two!

David.

Probity just means they follow the rules. It does not apply to doing the right thing.

Is like that land that was bought for the new Sydney airport where they paid 10 times what they should have paid. There was no indication of corruption.

Just incompetence.

When it comes to the government they don't like to face up to incompetence they pretend that having an election every so often is sufficient scrutiny.

Which is also why the Feds don't want an ICAC.

Democracy depends on trust - something the government lost a long time ago.

Looks like this is a 3 year tender opportunity for the successful 'applicant'. Mmm, how much? How about $1.2 M x 3 years, or is that too too much, or too little?

Basically what it means is that "if you haven't already been in discussion with the ADHA about this opportunity and pretty much told that "this job is yours after a very very quick tender has been called" then you are wasting your energy investing the time and resources in responding to the tender.

Oh, and if any of you pesky investigative journalists are contemplating lodging an FOI application to have a bo-peep at the tender responses (successful and unsuccessful) please don't even try; they will be classified as Commercially Sensitive and locked away from any public scrutiny.

Nothing to see here with this fully transparent process. Probity at its very best in action here for all to see (not)!
