So we have the ADHA paying – on the basis of a limited tender – about 100K a year for “corporate objectives / policy development”
What is it that a Melbourne PHN
could do that no one else can to slip in under a ‘selective tender? Is there something special in SE Melbourne?
Frankly this justification makes no sense at all and really can’t explain why a range of other organisatons were excluded.
Sounds like an abuse of process to me. What do others think and should we care?
David.

It's just another example of bureaucracy exercising corrupt practices in the absence of a Federal ICAC.
An agency that doesn't know hoe to set its own corporate objectives and/or policy development is out of its depth. That's what the board and senior management are supposed to do.
To be blunt ADHA's leaders are clueless. It started with Timmie the journo and has continued with that tradition ever since.
This explains the total lack of innovation and success in achieving relevant outcomes. They haven't got any. All they seem to be able to do is renew contracts to keep the MyHR running. That could easily be done by a couple of juniors in Services Australia.
The process is set up this way to enable cost shifting. Same reason they give $40k payoffs - it is also used to present an illusion of cross government collaboration.
Usually found them gather annually at conferences in Melbourne where time is spent in front of power points, mingling and taking photos of each other posing as if they are teenagers from some 90’s sitcom and posting to LinkedIn
The Chair of the ADHA Board was CEO of the South Eastern Melbourne PHN: https://www.digitalhealth.gov.au/dr-elizabeth-deveny-chair
What exactly are you trying to say Frank? "Was CEO of ... " -- so what? What is the relevance of your comment?

Thank you for the clarification Oliver. Apologies over the reversal mixup with your name. So, on the surface it would appear a case of ...... dare I suggest .... blatant case of a corrupt deal.
