Interesting result considering that Biden was clearly demented and Trump is clearly not. People can certainly disagree with his actions, but unlike Biden I don't get any clinical impression he is demented. It's Trump Derangement Syndrome rather than a valid disagreement/discussion.
Andrew McIntre - I don't believe the comparison to Biden was the question. Trump is a scarce breed thankfully. I don't see this ending well, and he is clearly not the right mind to be in charge IMO. I might be in the minority but persecution is not one of my fetishes
Derangement syndrome is a cure expression; however, the orange one is clearly a criminal psychopath with no moral compass. He, Musk, and others are not tearing down the “deep state” for efficiency purposes. What is being witnessed is a massive scam, impressive but going to cause long-lasting damage and set things back decades. And no, the perfect family, the white picket fence, and the milk bar will not return.
I am not aware of any evidence he is a criminal psychopath. The deep state needs to be taken down, but the questions are: 1 Can he do it and 2. Is he a part of it in fact. The corruption being reveal by DOGE exists in Australia as well, Anyone with a reasonable view of efficiency would cancel My Health Record immediately, well years ago in fact. You can never be happy with all the opinions/policies but MAHA, Drain the swamp and end Ukraine war are pretty big positives if they succeed. It remains to be seen if there is a catch, but the stated direction is quite positive overall, with Biden we had no idea who was setting policy, certainly not Biden himself...
Donald Trump, like many politicians is good at whinging about symptoms. That's the easy part. The hard part is a) knowing what the real problem is and b) fixing it.
