Even in the best situation there are often several days between being contagious & passed it on before they have symptoms, get tested, wait for results, then work out where you've been, work out who may be a close/casual contact (if the tracing works, helps if they all checked in). It takes a week or 2 until the worst lands them in hospital, takes a few more weeks for some to worsen .. ICU .. full ventilator & life support .. some die .. coroner certifies cause of death .. finally gets reported.
Waiting >4 weeks or more to find out hospitalisation & death rates is too late. Yes, the 2 doses appear to have reduced the numbers in hospital & death rates but it's a high risk strategy to have done very little these weeks. If NSW reaches >10'000 per day (>5x prev peak) does it matter much if hospital rate is <1/5 of previous? Why are we now more sorry than safe?

Clearly financially driven, Scumo and team do not want to foot to bill any longer. They need the cash for defence spending. Odd how tools to do harm get an open cheque book but the well-being of Australians is capped. Guess we reached Herd mentality.
