AusHealthIT Poll Number 400 – Results – 10th December, 2017.

Here are the results of the poll.

Do The Recent Additions Of Many New Clinical Information Feeds For The myHR Persuade You The System Has A Bright Successful Future Ahead?

Yes 1% (1)

No 97% (142)

I Have No Idea 2% (3)

Total votes: 146

Any insights welcome as a comment, as usual, especially regarding where it should go from here? It certainly seems there is definite belief among readers that the myHR is not the way to go and really does not have much of a future.

A really great turnout of votes that was almost unanimous!

Again we note three respondents who are clueless!

Again, many, many thanks to all those that voted! Hard to believe there have been 400 polls!

David.

To me the whole design and operation seems very reminiscent of the Stalin era manufacturing and food distribution model under the then five year plans. I am not sure if it is a conscious effort or not but I do not recall it be very effective or fair.

Perhaps it is a simple case of over engineering a problem? It is clear the MyHR thinking is out of step with modern computing and communication technologies. It should be seen as part of an evolutionary process and retired to the annals of eHealth history.

I would not be to hard in those who say “I know idea” there really is scant public information out there as the exactly what is going on, for what purpose, why is delivers any value. You could surmise that they are running this on luck, or it is simply a natural set of events materialising that NEHTA started.

all they are doing is spending money and achieving nothing visible to the public. To relate this to a crude metaphor it's like a man pissing himself in dark pants. Gives a warm feeling, but nobody notices.
