AusHealthIT Poll Number 627 – Results – 17th April, 2022.

 Here are the results of the poll.

Who Do You Believe Is Doing The Best Job In Advocating For Digital Health In Australia?

Australasian Institute Of DIgital Health                    3 (4%)

Medical Software Industry Association                  29 (39%)

Pulse + IT                                                                  3 (4%)

ANDHealth                                                                 2 (3%)

Digital Health CRC                                                     3 (4%)

Someone Else                                                            20 (27%)

No One                                                                       14 (19%)

I Have No Idea                                                              1 (1%)

People voted: 75

It is fair to say this poll is a dog’s breakfast with the figures being distorted by a lack or clarity on what some votes meant and at least one vote distorted by organised interest-group voting! My bad for not understanding what interests would be excited.

I will leave it to the reader to make what they can of the results!

Any insights on the poll are welcome, as a comment, as usual!

A good number of votes. and a very unclear outcome.

1 of 75 who answered the poll admitted to not being sure about the answer to the question!

Again, many, many thanks to all those who voted!

David.

Talking about advocating for Digital Health, it is rumoured that Senator Anne Ruston would be the new Health Minister should the coalition win the election.

From the Parliament House website:

Qualifications and occupation before entering Federal Parliament

* BBus (University of Southern Queensland).

* Electorate officer from 1987 to 1993.

* Senior Policy Adviser to the Minister for Industrial Affairs, Tourism, Recreation, Sport and Racing (SA) from 1993 to 1996.

* Chief Executive of the National Wine Centre from 1996 to 2002.

* Owner/operator of Ruston's Roses from 2003 to 2012.

Hunt was something of a disaster and he was preferred to Senator Anne Ruston.

And they want us to think they take Health, never mind Digital Health, seriously?

Hang on, three people voted for Pulse+IT? Have they not read the Saturday blog? They clearly haven't been recipients of monstering emails. I'd hoped that the buyout by Clan William would lower the level of bile directed at people in the sector, but alas no.
