AusHealthIT Poll Number 366 – Results – 16th April, 2017.

Here are the results of the poll.

How Do You Rate The ADHA's Performance After Nine Months Since Being Established? (10=Fabulous – 1=Hopeless)

10 1% (2)

9-8 0% (0)

7-6 1% (3)

5-4 5% (10)

3-2 63% (130)

1 29% (60)

Total votes: 205

I think it would be fair to say readers are less than impressed so far. A fair bit of work to do I reckon!

A really great turnout of votes!

Again, many, many thanks to all those that voted!

David.

I am left wanting the promised open dialogue, we get staged panels and tweets. I am left wanting openness and transparency, we get nothing, I feel the promises and early momentum has dried up and it is over, the MyEHR is all they have to cling to.

I would have to agree, it seems to have become rather reclusive. I am sure the little committees etc give them a warm feeling of connecting but it is not what was promised. Could it be we just cannot get the quality and experienced people we need?

6:31am The ADHA is a management company, A major draw card for the national body was the opportunity to work with and alongside an incredibly talented team of medical practitioners, technologists and other specialists, this was over the years replaced by unimaginative and word smith dull pen pushers and the trend has simply accelerated under Tim and co, it is a shame as I see no entity capable of doing the hard upfront work that we then benefit from.

8:26 am, you can forget any dream of that returning, it is now May, the strategy and four year list of stuff will have gone to AHMC by now to start the 18 month cycle. ADHA will shut down the level of engagement, consultation and transparency. It will emerge a clueless and shallow replicate of the eHealth branch run but a clucking flock of Doris's supported by lawyers and mis managers who will prance about embarrassing Australia. All the while the world we get more advanced and more connected, but don't worry they will claim credit for it, while denying patient civil rights have been abused and digital identities stolen.

Dr Mukesh and Dr Hambelton are our last best hope.
