This Is The Privacy Policy You Have When You Want Maximum Flexibility.

I spotted this at the bottom of the MyHealthRecord Privacy Policy.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to revise this privacy policy or any part of it from time to time. Please review this Policy periodically for changes. Any revised policy will be placed on our website. Your continued use of our website, the My Health Record system, requesting our assistance, or the provision of further personal information to us after this privacy policy has been revised, constitutes your acceptance of the revised privacy policy.
Here is the link and this is the last paragraph:
What a ripper – basically says we can change it when we like and we have no obligation to do any more than alter the website!
Remember this is a policy – not LAW…
David.

Late addition: How are people reflecting on the fact that the AMA President is claiming he has to be the key advocate for the myHR because Tim Kelsey and the ADHA have done such a hopeless job of communicating its value and benefits. Of course it might be that the ADHA knows it has a hopeless product to sell, and does not want to be associated with the emerging debacle and are keeping their head down - with only largely irrelevant tweets being posted.

Let me know, via comment or e-mail, what would be the best poll question for next week.

D.
